(Undated) — Ashley Judd is hiking in the mountains again, less than six months after shattering her right leg. The 53-year-old actress posted an update Sunday on Instagram, including a video showing her walking up a hill in a Swiss national park. She wrote, “Five months and three weeks after the accident in the Congolese rainforest, I walked again!” In February, Judd tripped over a fallen tree in a rainforest in the Republic of Congo and shattered her leg in four places. She was carried out during what she called a “grueling 55-hour odyssey” and flown to a hospital in South Africa where she underwent eight hours of surgery.

(Nashville, TN) — Dolly Parton says she took the money from a Whitney Houston song and invested it in a Black community in Nashville. The county music legend told host Andy Cohen on his Bravo show last week that she used the royalties made off of Houston’s smash hit cover of her song “I Will Always Love You” to buy a strip mall in a Black neighborhood back in the 90s. Her purchase and development of the Sevier Park neighborhood complex helped revamp part of the neighborhood, according to Nashville historian Dave Ewing. Ewing told the Washington Post, “We’re just hearing now, because of the Black Lives Matter movement, how down for the cause Dolly has always been – even when others in the music industry weren’t.”

Officials say the historic Laugh-O-Gram studio was struck by a vehicle this past weekend, and the driver fled the scene. The studio is undergoing renovations. The building was where Disney got his inspiration to create Mickey Mouse.
