It’s a really good time to be a fan of shark programming.
Thanks to National Geographic SharkFest And Discovery Shark Week, There are hours of programming in July. SharkFest will already start on Monday, July 5th, with 21 hours of new premiere, 60 hours of enhanced content and a treasure trove of archived footage running for 6 weeks. In addition to broadcasting on National Geographic, Nat Geo WILD, and Nat Geo Mundo, some series and specials will be available on Disney XD and Disney +.
Meanwhile, the long-running Shark Week will take over the week of July 11th with 45 hours of programming. Until then, Discovery and discovery + celebrate sharks for a month at the Shark Film Festival, which includes sharks. Sharknado series, Mega Shark vs. Octopus, Mega Shark vs. Mecha Shark, Attack by two sharks,and Attack of 3 sharks.. plus, Jaws It will air on Disney on Saturday, July 10th, 8 / 7c.
